ACAL Technology announces they have signed a pan-European assembly and distribution agreement with ITW Switches. In addition to a €250,000 stock profile and consignment stocking, ACAL Technology will provide in-house assembly of standard and custom switches and a specialist design service for ITW switches. The new agreement extends the existing UK franchise with ITW Switches, which ACAL Technology has held for 25 years, across 10 additional countries where ACAL has local offices: France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.

As an assembling distributor ACAL Technology will provide fast turn-round of standard 19N series micro-switches and 61 series push-button data switches as well as custom versions with alternative switching configurations and cable assembly. ACAL Technology will also offer a specialist design service on ITW’s full product range including the patented, ultra-durable ActiveTouch™ switch technology.

The ITW Switches range comprises IP67 sealed push-button, rocker, slide and snap-action switches as well as switch panel assembly components for use in automotive, aerospace, control and instrument applications.

For exceptionally harsh operating environments, ITW offers back-sealed switches with air-tight connections and vandal-proof switches based on patented ActiveTouch™ technology.
